Countdown is multi-platform compatible. Displays years, days, hours, minutes, and seconds (the last 4 can be omitted) until a specified date and optionally time. Output is in plain text, so it can be formatted to fit the surrounding page. Unique countdowns can be generated on the same or different pages by calling the function with different parameters.
