phpThumb() is multi-platform compatible. This uses the PHP GD library to create thumbnails from images (GIF, PNG or JPEG) on the fly. The output size of the thumbnail is configurable (can be larger or smaller than the source), and the source may be the entire image or only a portion of the original image. True color and resembling is used if GD v2.0+ is available, otherwise low-color and simple resizing is used. Source image can be a physical file on the local server, remote file over HTTP, or can be retrieved from a database. HTTP thumbnail creation can be limited to the current (or other list of) domain to prevent other sites from using your server to create their thumbnail.

Or you can have it automatically cropped based on a threshold value. The original image can be loaded from the file system or from a string. It will also compensate so you can use GD versions 1.x or 2.x.

Allayer text PGN is multi-platform compatible. This PHP script lets you performs a strange trick. It reads text contents from a file or an online page and hides that text in an image, a true color (24 bits) PNG (Portable Network Graphic). The images are quite small and they could be used for some kind of data exchange. A simple gzcompress and a base64 encoding would make the images smaller yet. Sometimes optical patterns are form by repetitive parts in the source text.

Image resizing is multi-platform compatible. It supported image types are JPEG and PNG. Well old developers know it GIF is copyrighted so it is no longer supported since GD 1.6. Generally this class supports all image formats, which are supported by GD library. The class creates image from file automatically calling proper ImageCreateFromXXX() function. There are three basic resize options: Resize to best fit into desired region; Resize to best cover desired region; Resize exactly to desired region. You can specify only one dimension for resizing function. You can output resized image to the file or directly to the browser.

Image masking is multi-platform compatible. This is a class allows you to apply a mask to an image much like you could do in PhotoShop, Gimp, or any other such image manipulation program. If the mask is smaller than the image then the mask can be placed in various positions (top left, left, top right, left, center, right, bottom left, bottom, bottom right) or the mask can be resized to the dimensions of the image.
